Ina walked around the castle, looking for the Headmaster's office. She wanted to thank them for the care that she's been getting and wanted to talk to him about a few things. She had a lot in her mind and wanted to clear it out with him. She didn't want to be a burden to these people. She wanted to do something in return. And she was going to ask him about it.
She approached the headmaster's door. Knocked a few times and waited. She didn't want to intrude but she had to talk to him.

*Snikt* The sound of a blade, making a deep hole in the wall. Right in the middle of a drawn target. Lucian smirked, then opened his eyes, already knowing his aim was perfect. His office was surrounded by weapons, swords hung on walls, dagger sets laid out on a small table near a window. Faded red curtains drawn back, with the window open. To let the fresh air in. While Lucian himself was sitting, casually on his mahogany reddish-brown desk. That was placed in the middle of the room. As if this was a normal thing to do. Even if paper work was piled up around him.
Various objects and paper floated around him, moving to cabinets a meter from the desk, which would open for them. It was as if he was using his ability to sort through the paper work, and that was what he was doing. While he practiced his aim.
Upon hearing knocking, Lucian stretched out his arms. Getting off his desk, Lucian dusted off his long black coat. Then reached for a hidden blade, while leaning against the desk. Making it float in front of him.
"Come in." Lucian called out. His voice was cold, yet inviting at the same time.

Ina slowly pushed the door open and as she walked into the office, her jaw hung open as she looked at various objects floating in the air. This was totally absurd and out of this world...well, considering her position, she was probably out of her world anyways.
She saw the headmaster leaning against his desk with a knife afloat in front of him. She literally had no idea what was going on.
"I--uh...I really...What the---?", was all she could say.

Lucian chuckled at Ina's reaction. Finding amusement in it. It was always the same with the newer, untrained ones.
"I wondered when I would be seeing you again. Take a seat." Lucian offered, taking hold of his blade, and pulling a seat out from the desk. Walking towards the other side, Lucian made the objects return to their previous places. Cutting off his mind from them. He really didn't want this girl distracted, for she obviously came her to talk.
Indicating the comfortable seat for the girl, Lucian placed the blade down. Scanning his desk for a sheet of paper, while he waited for the girl to take a seat.

Ina was still shocked when she walked towards the chair that the Headmaster gestured towards. She was glad that the various flying objects, which consist mostly of weapons and deadly things, are settling themselves as she sat her tiny self on the seat.
"I--uh--I wanted to thank you for having me here these past few days...", she said, still weary of whether or not the object will randomly start flying around again. "Uhm, pardon my asking and with all due respect, Sir, what is happening here?", she asked the Headmaster.

Lucian spotted the sheet of paper he was looking for, picking it up instantly. Turning towards Valeriana, Lucian held a smile. It was neither happy nor sad, but a plain smile.
"You do not need to thank me Miss Le-Ang, I was just doing what is required of me." Lucian stated, not fussing over the matter a second longer than need to.
"First," Lucian started to say, holding out the sheet of paper. It had written on it various information. Some of it about the girl in front of him, some of it about the school. It was a document, and it needed signing for the girl to become an official student. If she so wished to be.
"If you would like to remain here, as a student, sign this." Lucian peered over to the window. Having heard her question, Lucian was bothered. The girl seemed to display such little knowledge of the environment, she now found herself in. While it wasn't all that unusual, Lucian just hoped she didn't find herself in harm because of it. The other students did like to play with the newer ones. It was a concern, but since they kept it to a minimal and didn't openly break any school rules, Lucian didn't have to worry. Though, worry he would. These were his students, he couldn't help it.
"What you saw Miss Le-Ang, is basic telekinesis. Only certain types of Magus have this ability. They can range from having telepathy, telekinesis, future-sight and the ability to influence others decisions or judgment. As you would have already gathered, these abilities all require the mind. The magus's mind is different from a humans. That is what separate the magus from the humans." Lucian answered, turning his head away from the window. Knowing full well she probably didn't want that much information about it, but Lucian wanted her to be informed. She would have to learn everything, to survive and thrive at the academy.
Still, the girl could be a magus with dormant powers. Or a human that could simply use what some call 'magic'. Lucian preferred the term, free-based sorcery. Human's who are capable of letting nature's energy flow through them. Letting them able to preform 'magic.' It was almost the same, in a way, to the magus. Though the humans could not develop any mind ability, they were just not capable.

Ina couldn't help but be overwhelmed. She had a feeling that this was some sort of other worldly force that the Headmaster had. Levitating knives was not something normal, if you'd say normal in terms of constantly seen and doesn't cause outrage. She figured that much when she first stepped inside the headmaster's office. She didn't really know what to say. Was she supposed to confirm without much question? Was she supposed to refuse altogether? She's never been a situation like this. A situation that needed some serious decision making. This will change her life. It wasn't just a feeling, she was sure of it any other being with common sense would think that. Of course, she wanted to be a pupil here. It was a chance of a lifetime. What the headmaster was offering her transcends all things that she'd even gotten or wanted when she was still in the street. Being deprived makes you dream of little things and ignore a lifelong goal. It just seemed depressing to think about being able to have a normal family when you're squatting in a cold library, unable to find a place to call home. It was depressing to think about when you're picking off coins and loose change after a days' worth of singing in a plaza square.
"I'm...I'd very much like to be a student here.", she said and bit her lip and picked up the pen beside the contract. "I'm just wondering...how much does your...education cost?", she asked, blushing at the shame of what she was asking.
At the size of this place, she knew the students around here were privileged and highly educated from the elite class or some, rather, middle class & normal family. She knew she would feel alone and discriminated if she went here but that was worth the knowledge that she'd get. Who knew, maybe she was one of those humans who can do magic as her headmaster told her about.

"This academy is funded by the prestigious town." -The clubs mostly, Lucian thought.- "Students come here because they are drawn, or simply because their parents want them to be here. They don't pay anything, they are here to learn, while having everything they need provided." Lucian stated, almost in a monotone. As he gazed at the sheet, then let his eyes travel up to the girl. Noticing the shameful expression that lingered on her face.
"Do not worry about such things, Miss Le-Ang. You are not the first to have asked, and I assure you, you won't be the last." Lucian added, for it was not their fault the island drew them here. It was not their fault they ended up in a place some would preferred to have never stepped. Neither was it Lucian's fault, all he could do was provide a good school environment. He loved this place, but not all shared his devotions. Turning around, Lucian walked towards a shelf. Trailing his fingers across numerous books. His face taking hold of a thoughtful expression. While he silently flickered his eyes over the book titles.
"I am curious though, Miss Le-Ang. Are you intending to find a job?" Lucian asked, he thought she would. For in the profile, it stated she was independent. All this must be a new change for her. Lucian was undecided on whether that was a nice change for her, or a bad one. He didn't turn yet, still facing the shelf. Wondering on what book might provide the best information for her.

She squirmed on her seat. The Headmaster's voice was creeping her out in a way that made her feel like he could read her like a book even without looking at her. She twisted her thumbs together like she was making up her own thumb wrestling match on her own. She knew what to say but in the Headmaster's presence, there was his unbending aura of authority that made her feel tiny, nonetheless, respected. He was the type who people would fear AND respect. Machiavellian.
"Uhm, sort of...I WAS--for my tuition.", she said truthfully. "But now that you've mentioned that I don't need to pay for the education...Well, a friend of mine...C.C., a student here, offered me a job at the Underground...to sing. I guess it would suffice for my needs...", she said quietly.

Lucian couldn't help but laugh, it was pleasant in a way which wouldn't normally be considered. Turning from the shelf, and away from the collection of books. Lucian faced Valeriana. The mention of the student C.C, as a friend of Valeriana was amusing.
"The underground is dangerous. I would advise you to stay away, not because I don't trust in your abilities, but because you could easily be manipulated there." Lucian said, a brief smile appearing onto his lips. "Although, I believe you are in safe hands, if C.C was the one who gave you the job." Lucian stated, knowing C.C was trouble in most cases, she didn't like to obey the rules most of the time. Preferring to hang around in the underground. Lucian knew she had connections in strange places, and odd friends. He couldn't stop her, she was a vampire after all. Hearing the girl got a job as a singer was rather interesting. Lucian remembered the days he use to preform in a band before settling as the headmaster. It was a secret though, none but his previous friends knew.
Waving his hand, Lucian made a dark, covered book float towards Valeriana. It wasn't very thick, just a book about places on the island and a brief history on it. Just enough so that she wouldn't get confused when she saw something stranger than what she would normally consider, normal. Even so, Lucian could see Valeriana becoming a highly respected student. Then again, he expected it from all his students.

She grimaced at Headmaster Lucian's words. It didn't hurt and it didn't affect her that much but she felt a tinge of irritation at the thought that the Headmaster thought she wouldn't be able to handle the Underground. She could and she knew it. Besides, C.C. didn't strike her at the person who would willingly put her in danger. It was a job, maybe a challenge that she wasn't going to back down on.
"Haedmaster, I think I can handle the Underground pretty well.", she said firmly. "I'll be okay."
She said before he LEVITATED a freaking book to her. She nodded as he explained the use of this book for her own good. Indeed, it was a very wise idea of the Headmaster to give her this. Surely, there were other strange things that was going to happen in this island that she had no idea even existed in real life even in her wildest dreams.
"Thank you, Sir.", she said with a reluctant smile. "I know I'll surely need this, for one thing. But don't worry. I'll make sure that it'll make it's way back to your office after I'm...well-adapted", she said with an awkward scowl at her use of words. It was weird for her to not be able to know what to expect and, so far, the faculty has been heaven sent what it comes to her well-being.
