This large area is dedicated to wildlife. There are
crops of herbs and unusual plants used in the Alchemy classes,
but be careful - not all plant life is friendly. Vixi's like to
occupy this area.

The courtyard is large and grassy, and always seems to be bathed in sunlight despite the overall gloominess of the Academy.
A few stray flowers peek through the bright grass. The atmosphere here is calm and sweet, perfect for an afternoon of reading or meditation.

Lake crystal is named after one of the most known faces in the underground.
Her death helped form the lake as it is today, large and stretching over a great portion of the Island. In the center of the lake, rising from a small mound is a large tree. The whole place seems to glow with an unearthly light, thought to be the ebodiment of the womans spirit, watching over this place.

The caves are dark and immeasurably deep. No-one knows the full extent of their size, but it is thought that these caves run under most of the Island. The rumors say that if you know your way these caves can take you anywhere through their undeerground network.
A large variety of fungi that are often harvested by Alchemy students can be found here, though the headmaster forbids entrance to caves to all but these students.

A dirty, creaking sign hangs above the doorway of this usually deserted pub. The rooms here are dingy and dark. The few patrons prefer it this way, bathing in their sorrows.

Aevum Street is where the majority of the residents of the island live.
There are many houses here, most of them run down and shabby. There are a few homes that stand out from the rest, resembling mansions of sorts.

This large, ancient fountain has an eerie glow about it. It has been around for longer than anyone remembers. Rumour has it that the town was built around it.
An ancient legend says that the man who discoverd it was driven mad by its constant whispering.

This narrow lane is crowded with displays that hang from shop fronts. Anything that can be purchased can be found here, amoungst the many cramped stores and unmetionable wares.

The Nex Somnus is the only hotel avaliable to vistors of the island of Obscurum Sceptrum.
Although outside appearences seem rough, the sheets are clean and it's a lot safer than spending a night on the streets.

Many Millennium ago, travelers discovered the light, only to lose half their group to it. The blinding light draws any who choose to come close. Upon further discovery the missing group returned, changed.

Some more paler, some with odd markings upon their skin. Others capable of things never before seen in the human race. The light is never in the same place, but is always somewhere in the forest. Some say it's a god, the one who created the earth. Others say it's the very essence of evil. Drawing and changing people.

Whatever it may be, the light is always guarded by creatures of the forest and numerous paroling staff from the school.

It's classified as highly dangerous.

The Hollow is a large, fragmented clearing in the middle of the forest.
In some places the sweeping branches of the ancient trees reach so low
that their leaves brush against the ground.
The path that leads to the Hollow is winding and hard to follow.

It is the Underground scene.
Throughout its run-down streets the sound of raw music echoes, mixed with noise of the brawls of the Cage.
The Underground can be deadly, but this has never stopped its many visitors.

Enriched is the club of choice in the Underground. Dark and dingy, it is probably the most dangerous place in all of Obscurum Sceptrum.
In the hidden corners and back rooms the Krusnik can often be found, still and deadly in their silence.

The Docks are the only part of the of Obscurum Sceptrum's coast than can be approached. They are the only means of landing on the island.
The wood of the piers is old and splintering, the metal that holds it together full of rust. Although these pieres look stable, they haven't once fallen through...yet.

All those who pass on Obscurum Sceptrum come to rest here. Most of the graves are in various stages of toppling.
Amoung the weed-strewn, cobweb-entangled graves there are a few well kept plots of the recently deceased.
And deep in the darkest reaches a small, broken chapel casts an eerie light off the fragments of its broken windows.
