Simpal closed her eyes, she was so much tired of trying to seem as if she cared for some of these people, she dind't want to be rude and it wans't as if she didn't care...but maybe she had her own teenager problems which she had to cope with and needed to bee away from everyone just so she could clear her head, she couldn't bring her 'problems' down onto other people. She didn't want to have problems really she just wanted to have fun, but it seems whev ever she tried to she was only getting herself into more and more trouble. she looked around at the over grown plants and stopped wlaking wondering, if she crossed through the plants what would be waiting on the other side? she sighed outloud picking up a rock throwing it towards hte plants, there was a zap and the rock just...vanished before it even touched the plants. Simpals green eyes roundened curiously, she stepped forwards, to just disappear...wouldn't that be what she wanteD? she thought looking at where thr rock had been just moments ago.

Elsie didn't think that she would ever understand teenagers and their need to run away from their petty little problems. Especially the immortal ones who in another hundred years would still be the same as they were now. What was the point? She hoped that she never reached that age and that immaturity level and she certainly didn't ever want to get to the age that boys stopped having cooties. Eight years was long enough in this world.
She sat on the ground near the entrance of the mystical looking dome, her back resting against a large stone. She held an apple in her hand, casually taking bites from it. Apples was the easiest thing an eight year old girl could get her hands on without having to dig through the trash so it was a good thing she liked them or else her tummy would be protesting.
"If you step through there may not be a way for you to come back." Elsie stated. "Are you really going to be that selfish as to disappear and leave your poor mother worrying?"

"If you step through there may not be a way for you to come back." , "Are you really going to be that selfish as to disappear and leave your poor mother worrying?" Simpal paused her curious eyes turned away from the potal area towards the litle girl, she smiled the child was younge. Simpal wondered where her parents where...and yet she seemed a little dirty eating a apple, Simpal stared at her now more curious as to the girls well being then the portal.
"No, i would never run away from mum." she said looking back at the portal,"i would return of course, i was just currious as to looking here." she replied, her mother had sheltered Simpal from all magic her whole life. Simpal knew it was there, she had witnessed it many times in her life over to 500 years and she was kind of sick of not being able to use it for herself.
"What about you? where are yur parents?" she asked calmly.

Elsie had studied other people well enough to get the general idea of what they were thinking, especially when it was about her. The vampire turned around towards her, scrutinizing the appearance of the young child sitting down on the ground. It angered Elsie to be seen as dirty by anybody. She may not have a regular place to bathe but she made sure that her appearance was made suitable enough to go out in public in.
She polished what was left of the shiny red apple on her jeans, turning her beautiful piercing blue eyes on the much older woman. She found this Simpal to be pathetic for wanting to run away because her mommy never let her play with magic. "Walk through there and you'll never return. Not all portals have a way of getting back." Elsie repeated, avoiding her question about the whereabouts of her parents.

"Walk through there and you'll never return. Not all portals have a way of getting back." Simpal smiled a bit and looked back at the portal, if the girl was right and she wouldn't be able to get back then she shouldn't step through it. Simpal sighed and stepped back away form it,"oh, thankyou ig uess." she replied. Simpal did feel like having a break from people she never really had a 'holiday' she just followed people around did as they asked her to and did so without argument. She wasn't tired of it but she didn't feel as if she was getting much space in her life.
Simpal noticed the girl had avoided her question and she probley had reason for it, Simpal wasn't going to push it wasn't of her business to know. "Umm...may i know what brought you here?" she asked.

This girl didn't want to know where her parents were, it would give her nightmares. Her precious eyes and ears had probably never seen or heard anything so terrible in her life. She didn't regret getting rid of the source of her problems in their sleep, she only wished that she had done it sooner. "No you may not." Elsie answered with a slight edge to her voice, biting off another chunk of her apple and chewing it slowly.

"No you may not." Simpal nodded calmly,"ok thats your choice." she said she was curious as she guessed most people would be but she wasn't going to pry. she looked back at the portal and sighed, she wished to know aboutt he magical world, why did her mum fear it so much? dad had used magic he had been a 'mage' before he had died that was many of centries now. Simpal shook her head and stepped backwards further away from the portal. "I...i guess i shall leave now." really she didn't think this girl was going to have a long conversation with her and Simpal would rather keep moving to find something to do or to keep a active mind.

Elsie wasn't the type of person who enjoyed having long conversations with other people. She prefered to stay quiet and keep to herself. It didn't matter to her that many considered her to be a mute. She wasn't going to bother stopping this one if she wished to leave. She tilted her back to rest against the large stone behind her as she watched the girl back farther away from the portal, tossing her apple core off to the side. "I honestly can't see what your problem is. You go to a magic school, that should keep you satisfied." She stated.

I honestly can't see what your problem is. You go to a magic school, that should keep you satisfied." Simpal smiled at the girl and shook her head,"it's taken five hundred years for me to talk to my mum about it and she is angrey with me, ever since dad died...she just wont look at me in the eyes properly, five hundred years is a long time to see your mum dying." she replied, Simpal wasn't stupid she knew everyday and night being away from her husbane her mother was dying from being lonely and form griefe and if it wasn't for Simpal she wouldn't stay alive. Simpal half the time wanted her to go to where daddy was, but she dind't have heart to tell her mum osmehting like that. "either way, it's not really your concern." she replied calmly to the girl while being polite."nice meeting you."
