{Just tryin' to make a living people So sorry, I'd post myself singing if I could but I have nowhere quiet to record in, I have trust issue over the net and I have no talents in playing any instrument whatsoever, I just know how to sing.} Ina walked toward, what seemingly is the center of the town. There weren't a lot of people in this lazy town but she'd have to make do with what she's go to work with. She put an upturned old hat in front of her which she'd picked up from a garbage can around a corner. She'd do what she's always knows how to do. Sing. She figured that before she talked to the headmaster, she'd get herself working already. Life inside the castle was grand...but it felt awkward to Ina as she they've managed to take care of her without any charging fee but it would be awfully unproductive to her to take advantage of the care they were showing her. She took a breath, getting poised to sing but stopped suddenly as she heard whisperings and ramblings coming from the fountain behind her. She turned to look but there was nobody in sight. She decided to ignore the lingering voices and started to sing, hoping that people around here can appreciate her work. {Kudos to Charlotte Martin for the song and Jellicious11 for posting the song}

C.C, dressed elegantly in a white corset, and black heel boots. Her favorite outfit. Was currently drifting through town. Her motive of being her was simple, to avoid the school as long as possible. The town didn't really offer much as she cast her honey coloured eyes around. A smile, perfected long ago, appeared on her pink lips, as her almost white, velvet coloured face turned, something getting her attention. C.C recognized it as music. Soft, soulful music.
Then her feet carried her closer, her eyes catching the dark haired girl who was singing. Never mind that it was near the fountain, that C.C learned never to listen to, the girl had a beautiful singing voice. It surprised C.C that she was out here, and by the look of the hat in front, was doing this to get money. It wasn't unusual, C.C had seen many who would seek money this way. It was just the girl looked young, and perhaps could prove she was strong enough to work in the club.
Walking up to the hat C.C crouched down, taking out a few notes of cash. Reaching out a delicate hand as she placed the money in the hat. Then she peered up at the girl, still smiling. Just studying her, not yet saying a word. Acting very much like a curious child would.

Ina sang for a minute before somebody even looked at her. She kept singing but plastered her eyes at the girl, closing them once in a while when the notes of the song gets too high. The girl laid a few paper notes on the hat as she watched Ina curiously with a smile. Thankful that somebody finally noticed what she was doing, Ina gave more soul to the song and, finally, putting a bit of her own internal pain within the song. She didn't let herself get drifted together with the pain of the song but she let go of just enough enough emotions to give more life...or rather...pain to the song. She looked around and still, nobody was approaching so she proceeded with ending the song as it should...perfectly. Sometimes, when there are a lot of people who are enjoying her performance, she'd immediately switch to another song after the last line of each song.
Ina was also amazed the the girl had laid paper notes on the hat and not just coins. Usually, in a place like this, all Ina would get would be a collection of a spare change and a half hearted clap. This girl must be somebody around here. The island didn't look much like it could hold a lot of riches on it.
After finishing the song, Ina bowed slightly as a true performer would and went for the cash on the hat. She'd learned to do this from a time where kids much unlike her actually stole her earnings. She straightened up and turned to the girl.
"Thank you so much.", she said quietly. "If you want, I can sing another song.", she shrugged. "You've definitely paid for much more than half a song", she thought as she pocketed the cash.

C.C smiled, nodding her head. Happy that simply giving someone what they wanted would please them, a lot.
"I know a place in which your voice would be better appreciated." C.C spoke clearly, her voice smooth, as if every vocal cord was intertwined with silk.
"It may or may not seem friendly but it's a warm place, once you familiarize yourself. That is of course, if you are interested?" C.C asked, standing from her crouched position. C.C knew that she had to be careful who she gave out the 'phrase' to or as most say 'password' to gain entrance to the rough patch. It was meant to be for those who were willing. Though, C.C didn't always play by the rules. This became increasingly obvious the longer people remained near her.

Ina almost laughed at what the girl said. There can't possibly be a place that's more dangerous and colder than the streets and she survived being homeless for years now. She barely survived but the point was she did. Even if she gave up already on herself. She was thankful that this island existed. For the first time since living int he street, getting washed ashore in this island was the best thing that ever happened in her life. In this island, she felt needed...she felt important and worth something other than street filth and a toy.
"No offense, lady, but I don't think this place that you talk off is not much worse than what I've been through...", she said as embarked on another haunting song.
She finished and bowed to the girl in front of her. Putting her hands inside her pockets, she approached the girl.
"So...uhm...this...'gig'.", she said, doing quote marks with her fingers at the word she'd used. "Are you-- are you offering me a job?", she asked. "Coz if you are, then, I'd say: "Hell yeah"."

C.C eyed the girl critically. She liked her eagerness, she liked how confidante the girl appeared. C.C just hoped Elias thought the same way, after all he was the owner of Enriched. It would prove quite interesting to see a singer bringing a new light to that place. C.C already knew that a girl like this would catch a lot of eyes.
"It's C.C, my name." C.C said, her eyes sparkling. Then held out her hand, as if in politeness. When in fact C.C was giving her the few words that would get her into the rough patch. All transmitted to the girls mind, the knowledge. It was a neat bit of magic, one that allowed for the secret to remain that. Without any ears overhearing, for there was nothing to over hear.

Ina eyed the girl. For a girl her age, she definitely seemed more mature. She reminded her of someone she met on the streets. A girl named Giselle. She was really quiet and has the appraising eyes that C.C. has. Too bad she got involved in gangs and...well, met her end there. Ina smirked. she hated that girl. Hopefully, if all goes well, she wouldn't have to resort to hating this one too. After all, she was going to owe her a lot. She smirked and reached for the girl's hand.
"Valeriana.", she nodded. "Nice to meet you, C.C."
She hoped to god that this job that she was offering doesn't involve drugs and killing.

C.C nodded, and as the girls hand was on hers. C.C could feel the pull, as she enabled the information to pass through to Valeriana. The transfer of information. Valeriana was a beautiful name, C.C liked it. Smiling once it was done, C.C took her hand away a second later.
"Valeriana, have you received it?" C.C was just making sure. She was happy that this girl was going to be better off because of this. C.C would even say it was safer, then working on the streets.

Ina was in a daze for a second. At first, she thought the fountain behind her was acting up again with the voices. She almost looked behind her as the hairs on the back of her head raised. It felt like something was beckoning her to listen to it. Some force it was that made her feel all creepy and angry. She didn't being scared. Her hand felt tingly. That hand that held C.C.'s. Then she met the girl's eyes.
For some reason, a piece of knowledge passed itself into Ina's head. A piece of knowledge that apparently came from C.C. as she heard the girl's question. She withdrew her hand from C.C.'s slowly and she couldn't resist but wipe it on her jacket. She looked at the girl strangely and asked, "Yeah, whatever that is, I did get it. What the hell was that?", she asked her, unbelieving.

C.C, innocently smiled. She hadn't gave someone the knowledge this way, in a long time. It could have done something unexpected to Valeriana. But seeing as the girl didn't fall over dead, C.C knew it was done right. There was no need to be angry. But she understood why someone would be, considering she had done something unexpected and strange.
"A form of magic, it's what all of us are able to do. Once you're been in the rough patch, like a gift." C.C explained, it was automatic. C.C had her theories that the underground was being used for something other than the usual. It needed to remain secret from people that threatened to over run it. Once down there, it gave you this little gift. So you could tell someone about it, without people knowing, you know. It was as if it had it's own conscious.
"Anymore questions, or do you want to meet in Enriched tonight?" C.C asked, knowing the girl must be curious to check the place out. C.C was already thinking about giving her, her own room to store her things. Once, she spoke to Elias that is.

Ina nodded at the girl's suggestion while she gathered up the hat and the money she got from C.C. It was awkward and she wanted to return it to her since it was her, after all, who was giving her a job.
"Magic huh...", Ina's first reaction was skepticism. She grew up the street and lived the past few year of life as a homeless. When you talk about magic in the streets, it usually consist of either drugs or certain type of disappearing at that didn't involve reappearing at all in the face of the Earth. That was what magic was to Ina. But now, coming to this place changed it. After what she saw in the Headmaster's office and seeing something like that, Ina wasn't sure if there was anything impossible in the world now.
"And Enriched...", she said as she nodded again. It seemed like a fairly innocent name for a place that's located in the Underground. "Cute.", she quirked an eyebrow. She wasn't being mean but she has learned to be sarcastic while in the streets. It kept her above among the one's who can't even speak properly. Knowing the terms of hierarchy, that was the key.
She looked around and saw a few stray animals and . This town was close to deserted. Some drunk stumbled against a wall, a lady who was shopping stumbled against the weight of the things she's bought. "The highs and the lows of Obscurum Sceptrum...Either way, we all stumble.", she thought.
"So about this Enriched.", she said to the the girl. "Yeah, yeah, I think it'll be awesome to be able to see it."
