Elias was already on the brink of a bad mood. At Ina's words, however, his expression turned dark, his eyes flashing dangerously. His tone was bitter as he spoke his next words. 'Well, at least I gave this place a shot. I'm trying, am I not? This bar is my way of living, when you can do any better, then come back and tell me those words again'

Ina simply shrugged as she demurely sipped on the gin. "If you say so...", she said as she pretended to be overly interested with her gin. After all, the man was right. The best thing you an do in life is make the most out of what you've got. That's what they were both doing. He was trying to keep his this piece of crap together and she was trying to keep herself together since that's basically the only thing she's got right now.
She sighed dramatically after finishing the last of her drink. "Well...have a nice life...Elias...", she said as she stood up from her bar stool. She wanted a few more drinks but she was literally penniless. Maybe some other time when she'd gotten her crap together, when she's got a job in this god-forsaken town.

Elias simmered, biting down the anger threatening to over-boil. Something about this kid bugged him imensely. He stared at her in his anger, but didn't say a word as she finished the last of her drink.
'You too, Ina.' he spoke bitterly, his dislike for her outlined in each word 'but I do hope you do not have the misfortune of finding yourself in my bar again. I don't think it is a suitable place for you' His warning was an undertone as he spoke, implying that she was no longer welcome at the Devil's Drink.

To add salt to the wounds, she looked back towards Elias and gave him another sickly sweet smile. "Don't worry, bar wench. You might find yourself lucky with that.", she said and winked before turning away and walking towards the exit. It wasn't the fact that she had no interest in returning here. If this was the only bar in town, she'd probably end up right back at that seat some time soon if she manages to get some extra cash, aside from the tuition that she needs to the school. This place humored her stereotype of what a bar in a ghost town looks like. She liked it. At least, people here aren't pretentious to the point of lying to impress random someones. It was filthy...but it was honest. Still, that didn't prevent her from trying to irritate the bartender. She pushed open the doors and walked out, whistling.
