Gillian stepped carefully off the boat he had arrived in, onto the unstable looking docks. The trip here had been harsh, strong winds nearly upturning the small vessel. He frowned, remembering the kid that had almost been sick on his boots.
It had been mostly students on the boat, leaving him feeling awkward and conspicuos. He tried to smile and keep to himself during the trip, there would be plenty of time to talk to people later.
Raising his eyes, he turned slowly, taking in his surroundings. Not that he could see much, the view was almost entirely stormy sky and dark forest, the scene only broken by a large road that stretched out before him. With a smile, he bent and picked up the red leather bag at his feet and began to follow the road.

Eve sat on a chair at the docks. Her hair over her eyes her fingers tracing through the air picking out muck leaves twigs flowers and the odd insect. She was wearing a brown sattin dress with a corsett like top. The golden eyes of the voodoo doll earing glimmered with the small raise of light pathetically forcing through the clouds.
Next to her a thick bag filled with sewing needles, knives, hay, cotton, long thick locks of peoples hair, bird feather, various material and doll eyes (wich she packed with pure distain). Everything she needed for a night of voodoo practise. She always liked to look her best for this.
She smiled when she heard footsteps on the creaking wooden boards and felt like laughing as they walked right passed her.

Lucian Siagath. Headmaster and weapons master of the academy. Known for his rather strict rules and cruelness towards everyone students. Was currently using his ability to fly him through the forest, towards the docks. He had been informed of their arrival. There would be more coming, later, but Lucian felt it necessary to greet the first arrivals.
Smirking at the thought. Lucian made sure his sword was still secure. Strapped to his hip. While various weapons were hidden. Lucian wasn't the weapons master for nothing, he had come prepared.
Pushing his dark hair back, Lucian landed. His black, long coat drifting down with a -whoosh- as he did so. A charming smile was placed on his raggedly handsome face. His dark crimson eyes shinned with untold mysteries of the academy, that only a select few knew of. Lucian was pleased to see the boat. Letting his eyes travel towards a student, than what could only be a teacher. Silently, Lucian grabbed a branch. Then proceeded in snapping it, making a loud noise in the process. Clearing the path.
After this, Lucian walked. His black boots coming to a halt in front of the teacher, while throwing the two broken bits of the branch away. Effectively being in the man's way. It was one way to stop and get someones attention.
"I take it your going to be a great asset to the staff. Turning up on the first boat. Pleased to meet you, I'm Lucian." Lucian greeted. His voice was firm, but inviting. Lucian had clearly not introduced himself as the headmaster. If this man was smart, he would know just by Lucian's name, who he was. After all, he was the first human to become headmaster of the academy. If that didn't impress people, his ability with weapons sure did.

Gillian smiled as the man blocked his path. 'Lucian? Aha, you must be the headmaster. I'm Gillian Grey...' He held out a long fingered hand to Lucian. 'Quite an entrance if I may say so. I imagine it would impress the students'.
He smiled pleasantly, although he could see where the headmaster's reputation came from. He was intimidating in ways that Gillian could not explain even to himself, he was suddenly glad that he had arrived so soon, he would not want to get on the headmasters bad side.
Gillian's eyes travelled over Lucian, taking in his appearence. So dark when compared to Gillian and his own bright attire. He wore a tailored emerald-green coat paired with high boots that matched the color of his bag. He was glad that for once he had decided to tone it down...

"Glad you keep up to date, Gillian" Lucian shook his hand, noticing how talkative this teacher was. That would all change once he spent some time with the students. The new teachers always seemed to start with a flare, but the academy changes all that. Lucian didn't see any reason why Gillian even needed to be this friendly. As a matter of fact, Lucian didn't see why anyone needed to be this friendly.
"Just remember to do your job and you and me will get on nicely." Lucian declared, his dark red eyes going cold with this statement. Seemingly boring into Gillian's, as if to find some weakness Gillian held hidden.

Ina struggled to keep her consciousness as she crawled on the shore. Her hair sticking to her neck and cheeks. She was soaked, tired and cold. She shivered and she felt as helpless as ever...even more helpless that she'd ever been
Why didn't she just die? That's what she wanted didn't she?
"Help...", Ina cried out weakly. It was the best she could manage. Her vision was blurred, probably damaged from being thrown about in the sea. It was practically a miracle she survived...or a curse. "When will this end...?", she thought.

'I'm s- ' The strained voice reached Gillians ears as he began to speak. He raised an eyebrow at the headmaster and turned deftly on the heel of his boots.
'Oh my...' His quickly dulling eyes fell upon the bedragled girl. Within seconds he was kneeling in the dust beside her, fingers at her pulse, quickly checking her over. 'Are you alright?'
Calmly his mind ticked over, examining and processing each thought as it came to him. Where did she come from? He was sure she had not been on the boat. Who was she? How did she make it here?

Ina was coughing up vast amounts of water as she was turned over by strong, sure hands. She felt them on her wrist, her neck...Then she had a panicking thought. Didn't she get away from him just a week ago? It didn't happen right? Did she just fall into his hands again? She started to sob in helplessness. She couldn't do anything to get away from him...
"Please....", she begged. "Please don't...", she cried even more, her sobs making her words even more inaudible... "...don't force me, oh God...please...", she said as she weakly tried to struggle against the strong hands that, unbeknown to her, was actually trying to help her.

Lucian observed Gillian as he went to the girl. His eyes narrowed in thought. Knowing already that if the girl had made it this far, she was going to survive. Casually strolling up to the two, Lucian put a hand on Gillian's shoulder. As if to let him know the girl was going to be alright.
While peering intently at the girl, Lucian kneeled down. "Miss... You are safe now." Lucian's voice held worry, intertwined with authority. Lucian looked to the side at Gillian. "How is her pulse?" He asked, swiftly taking his hand from Gillian's shoulder and using it to levitate the girl a few centimeters from the ground. Making sure there wasn't any blood stains on the sand.

Ina felt as she sobbed and begged to the man not to hurt her again. It was more than she could take right now. Kept resisting but her arms were too weak. She needed to get out of there.
"Miss... You are safe now.", she heard the authoritative voice. At this, she gathered up her courage, or what's left of it, and took in her surroundings without opening her eyes. She felt warmer at hearing the voice but resistant, still. She still needed to see if this wasn't the same man that assaulted her.
She stopped speaking and tried to open her eyes. All she saw were two figures over her. One was kneeling and the other was standing over them both.
"How is her pulse?", the same voice asked, who she assumed, the one who was kneeling over her. She felt much warmer now. They were actually trying to see if she was fine. The man that assaulted her wouldn't mind that.
Then she felt lightheaded...light bodied...light all. Her hand fell to see if there was anything unusual because she certainly fell unusual. Then she felt no ground beneath her. And all of what's left of her strength permitted her to a modest gasp at this surprise.

Something about the girls words made Gillian shiver. What must've happened to her.... Gillian pushed the thoughts from his mind and leant closer to the girl, listening to her breathing. Ragged...but it was better than nothing.
He looked up at Lucian, standing as he levitated her. 'Her pulse is fast, but not too weak. I think she should be fine' Gillian had to force himself not to start and such a blatant display of the Headmasters abilities. Only had he ever heard of the Magus before now.... and here was Lucian displaying them as if they were nothing but a childs tricks.
'Miss' Gillian leant towards the girl 'Can you tell us your name?'

"Miss, can you tell us your name?", the figure who was formerly kneeling beside her asked quietly. She closed her eyes at the movement of the shadows above her. It made her head ache.
Ina was struggling to hold onto her consciousness. She tried to answer them but a pained moan came from her. She breathed in as if her trying was hard work. She was trying with all her might.
If they were trying to help her, she figured she should meet them half-way, at least.
She heaved another deep breath to try and make an audible answer, "...Ina...". She heaved a breath and her head swam again. "...tired..."
She was so pained that she didn't even give the fact that she was levitating another thought. She just wanted to rest and be done with the pain. She just wanted the hurting to end.

'Ina?' Gillian repeated, his eyes flickering to Lucian. 'I know... I think I have something that may help...' His eyes danced as he rifled through his bag, long fingers barely touching the objects they moved over. His eyes widened as his hand emerged with small glass bottle held tightly in his fingertips. The thick liquid inside glowed a mottled green, moving slugishly as he held it up.
'Ina do you think you could drink this? It'll make you feel better' The strange liquid in the bottle was something he had picked up in a back-alley alchemists shop, a mixture of Palmarosa, Bergamot mint, Devil's bit, and other assorted herbs he could not name. He had tucked in the bottom of his bag, telling himself just in case, but feeling silly for being so cautious.
Slowly, he pulled the stop from the bottle and held it towards the girl, as its rich, flowery scent watched over him.

Ina put all of her strength to reaching the bottle with one hand and pulling on the man's arm with her other hand. She was straining to keep her hands up without support. She took the bottle and smelled a waft of sweet smells..of flowers and spices that was pleasing to the nostrils. Upon the smell, her throat felt a bit of clearing and soothing at the thick aroma of the liquid. She moaned which should mean that she felt better with the just the smell already. She didn't have the energy to talk.
She tipped the liquid to into her mouth and felt the thick richness of the concoction. She felt like she was in a garden, the smell rising form her throat to her nose and making her eyes water a bit. Nonetheless, the man was right. It did make her feel better. She thought it was probably some home made concoction that helps with sickness or whatever. She felt warm. She held onto the man's hand as her vision cleared up and she felt a bit of her energy return.
"Wh---", she stopped as a her voice came out a bit hoarse. She swallowed and tried again. "Where am I?", she asked the thin man who gave her the strange liquid.

Gillian smiled hesitantly as she drank, the glow of the liquid seeming to transfer to her. Or maybe it was just his mind playing tricks on him.
'You're at Obscurum Sceptrum...a small island' He said to her, leaning close.'Do you know how you got here?' He looked at her damp form, surely the chill of the water would make her sick? He glanced around him, smiling as his eyes fell upon an odd looking girl.
'Excuse me?' He asked her, his voice too loud, his words too quick, 'Can you help me? I need you to run into town, get me a towel or a blanket?'

Nigh wiggled her toes once more the boots fabric moving slightly. Still swayying them happilly she tapped her legs together. Her thoughts on a small undistained track of passing time then suddenly.
'Excuse me' It broke the train and she shot her head up revealing on eyes and her voodoo doll earings dancing happilly her eye looking slightly wild. 'Can you help me? I need you to run into town, get me a towel or a blanket?'. She suddenly realised her goal had been met and a lot of time had passed without her knowing.
She nodded quickly getting up and forgetting her feat wheren't on the ground and falling over. She cursed in Latin then began to run into town forgetting she had a towel in her bag.

Ina thought for a while how she actually got to an island. She found that she could speak fairly well now, because of the concoction. She had a bit more energy than she did before she drank it. Still, she felt a shiver and couldn't keep it from showing. She wanted to thank the man who's hand she was holding. She didn't plan to let it go for now. In spite of being a strong person, Ina couldn't find that courage now. Not after what happened to her.
"Th-thank you.", she said shakily. She looked at him with a tired smile. "I just wanted to swim...", she let it at that. There will be time to explain later if need be.

Gillian looked suprised, hearing the girl speak in latin before rushing off.
He quickly returned his attention to Ina. 'Seems as if you chose a bad time to swim. Where do you come from?' He wondered about where she must have "swam" to end up here... and where her family was, certainly she wouldn't want to be stuck on this island?

Ina closed her eyes for a moment to rest them as thought of an answer to the man's question. She didn't really know the answer to that since...she didn't have a home and...she doesn't really remember what coast she swam from...
"...needed to get away...", she said, "bad man...", she said in her usual vague manner. She tried not to remember but...the memory was too intense. She felt her chin quiver as a river of tear threatened to flow again.

Alex stopped in her tracks as the voodoo dolls danced loudly next to her ears. She slapped her self in the face and began to run back her skirt flying on her knees. She wa sso greatful for not wearing the tradtional full dress. It might of made this very hard.
Her boots where crunching over mushrooms and flowers and weeds that grew vainly on the road. What did they expect to happen to them? She reached the bridge and pulled the towel out of her bag quickly and rushed over to them.
She tilted her head at the girl shivvering. Her eyes reaching into the girls souls sending a small chill down her spine. She used her hair to cover both her eyes and gave her the towel silently.
