Gillian swung open the door to the empty Latin classroom with a smile. Classes were most certainly his favourite part of the week, he enjoyed giving understanding of the ancient language to the young students.
He walked to the far side of the room and opened all the windows along the back wall, allowing cool air to pour through into the room. The fresh air cleared the musty smell of dust and Gillian breathed deeply. The scent of the forest had been carried on the wind.
He walked back to his desk and sat on the chair, leaning the piece of furniture on its back legs. Smiling childishly, he swung his feet onto the desk.

Ryan appeared out of the corner from the corridor and hurried to Latin. Today he did not want to be late, firstly because he had been late to enough of his lessons to garner attention from staff, secondly Latin was one of his favored lessons, second only to alchemy.
Upon reaching the door, Ryan breathed a sigh of relief. Not only was he on time, but he was the first student to arrive. With a visual grin on his face, Ryan entered the classroom finding Master Grey ready for the class to arrive.
"Hello Master Grey, I'm glad to you well."Ryan said, still failing to hide his smile. The boy gave his teacher a little bow and went to sit in middle of the class next to the far wall.

Danny took a deep breath, before stepping into the classroom. His features held a soft, shy smile of anticipation that fell immediately upon seeing that the classroom held none but one new student and his slightly eccentric teacher. He frowned to himself and made his way to the seat he had occupied the previous lesson, he had been hoping Lanor would already be here. He fought down teenage-girl-like panic of What if he wasn't coming? and instead occupied himself by turning to the new student.
"Hello" Danny flashed the boy his charming smile.

Lanor arrived to class reasonably on time. His black shirt buttoned up, dark jeans covering his legs, while his bag was slung over to his side. The only indication that he had been rushing about, was his slightly dripping wet locks of hair. Ruffled and looking disorderly, giving Lanor a rebellious look. One he kinda didn't want to give the instructor. Not the one that everyone knew to be a tad different.
Muffling a quick hello to the master of Latin, Lanor silently followed the same path toward his desk as he did the last time. Making his way toward Frank. His electric blue eyes strayed away from the teacher, to the boy near the far wall, toward Frank, sitting in the middle. His lips moved into a smile, as he sat next to Frank. His bag falling rather gracefully near his feet, as he took out the necessary material.
He was prepared to dive into whatever the Latin teacher had planned. While keeping an ear open on what Frank was talking about with the other boy.

It was a slow morning and Latin was her first class of the day. It didn't take her long to get dressed; jeans, t-shirt, and a zip-up sweatshirt in case it was cold. She took her time packing her bag; she had the time to waste. First went her little book and a pencil to communicate with, then her old notes. Her hand hovered over her clay before passing by. It was time to leave now. Latin would be starting soon.
It didn't take terribly long to get to the classroom. Even though she was early for the class, she wasn't the first person there. Her eyes glanced over everyone in the room, starting with the professor, then the two boys sitting next to each other, then to the boy sitting by the far wall. He was the only person she recognized from that day in the courtyard. Regardless, she took a seat near the back of the class.

It was not long after Ryan had managed to sit down, put his bag aside and get his notebook and pen out, before other students began to arrive. Ryan gave only quick glances to the first student as they came in, feeling a little better now that he was not the only one in the class bar the cheery teacher at the front of the class.
Beginning to stare off into the distant, Ryan mindlessly ran his hand through his scruffy black hair, his dark brown eyes glazing over almost as if they were a pair of hollow pits. Completely unaware of the two boys sitting next to him or even that the girl from the other day came in.
At least a whole minute had pasted until Ryan registered the boy had spoken.
Caught off guard, Ryan jumped and backed violently towards the wall now behind him. "Whoa.....When did you get there?....erm... I mean...er...hi there." Turning slightly red from embarrassment, half smiling half grimacing as he realized that there actually three students here as well. Not just the one next to him.

Amandine glanced up at the door which clearly stated that was in the right place, she bit her lip nevously knowing that she would probably be the youngest person there, the only thing she loved about being young was the fact that there was still so much to find out about. She pushed on the door and entered, the fringe of her long brown hair swinging in front of her face so that she had to push it behind her pointed ear with her other hand as she did so.
She smiled as she looked around the classroom, glad there were alrrady people there. There were three boys, one which looked like he had almost fallen off his chair as she walked in, another with wildly wet hair and the third who was looking at the first, clearly trying to have a conversation with him. The girl was pretty and blonde and sat at the back of the room, looking as if she wanted to be left alone, so despite her curiosity, Amandine headed over to sit by the window where she could watch everyone.
The teacher sitting at the front looked friendly enough, dressed in bright colours, they suited him, but friendly. Amandine smiled at him. "Hello sir." she said in her small voice before taking a seat, glad to have the sunlight on her back, she loved the warmth of it.

Danny's eyes flickered to the door just as Lanor stepped through it. He chewed gently on his bottom lip, noticing the unusual way his heart swelled when he set his eyes upon the lamia.
He was far too distracted to notice any unusuality in the new boy's surprise at his presence, or to notice that he was wearing a blush that matched him with this stranger. It seemed a terribly strenous effort to speak.
"You're new here, right?" He spoke to the boy, but his attention was focused upon Lanor, accutley aware of him even though he was not looking at him.

Shaking his head a little and taking a quick breathe in, Ryan composed himself as quickly as possible before appearing rude. Giving a rather embarrassed grin, he looked at the boy speaking towards him. "Err, kinda I guess, although this isn't my first year, so I guess I'm not new then, huh?"
Laughing a little cautiously while running his hand over the back of head, Ryan gave the room another look over to see the occupants of the classroom, including the girl from the courtyard the other day. Turning back to the boy and holding out a hand, he spoke politely. "Well my name is Ryan, nice to meet you." Grinning with a smirk half showing.

Amandine pulled a pad of paper and pencil case out of her bag, not without noticing the reaction of the third boy to the boy with wet hair. He shifted in his seat and bit his lip. Slightly surprised she could see that they already knew each other, and by the way wet-hair boy was smiling at boy three, whatever boy three felt was reciprocated.
Amandine took a closer look at fall-off-chair boy, he was tall and skinny with dark hair, he seemed to be trying to have conversation with boy three, but wasn't doing very well, most probably due to nearly falling off his chair. She leaned back against the window sill and looked back at the blonde girl behind her, whom she smiled at, before turning her attention back to the teacher and waiting for either someone to talk to her, or for the lesson to begin. She pulled out a gel pen and began to write 'Latin' and the date in a swirly script in her neatest writing. Which was hard considering she was only eight. She breathed deeply and smiled as the smell of the forest wafted in through the window, she immediately felt more relaxed, though she wasn't quite sure why.
