A blue-green mist was the only thing that stopped Danny from seeing to the edge of the earth as he sat in the early-morning sun, eyes cast on the horizon. The wood of the pier beneath him was old and full of rot, but he cared little about the danger of it falling through. His toes were submerged beneath the ice-cold water, the ripples warping their shape as the water-surface moved. The air was cool and brittle in his lungs, and the fog he breathed added to the thickness in the air.
The thoughts in his head were as misty as the sky, and just as easy to see through. There was not a thing he could understand, and it was torturing him. Danny was blank-eyed, blank-faced, living in a different reality as he sifted through his brain. Before his thoughts had been all about the chase, all about survival and all about keeping unknown. Now his head was full of boys, makeshift love and honest desire. Stupid thick head. It was muggy.
It was too much for him to handle all at once, and the sudden change in his heart and perspective was a nightmare. And yet it made him smile so much. It was all wrong and it worried his brain endlessly, something to which any outsider would be oblivious to as he watched the horizon without expression

The End. Is there such thing. Jst when you finally think there is a finish line the wold could be pulled up in front of you the gods flicking the ant away from it's nest but perhaps that was why this place was so desirable. A simple notion where you couldsee that nothing lasts for ever, not even our troubles.
What did this place mean to everyone else. Halo thought to himself with a slight smile. It looked so beautiful to him. The water so bright, so colourful and so everything but then again did he realy know what nothing looked like? Maybe this place was just different for everyone. A thick breath as he stared at the edge. If you look long enough into an abyss the abyss looks into you. Responding to that he whispered to himself. "I'll make you a deal one day we will meet again... Just keep me here I'd be prepared to be no where else.. then no where" He smiled and tapped his toes on the ground the moss shifiting in his toes.

It was the beautiful never-ending. The mist told her that the ocean could stretch on forever and ever. Endless blue. Laura felt she could stay here forever, in this early morning quiet, in the just-warm sun. Where the sky and the horizon and the ocean and the earth were all the same thing, and the only thing that was tangible, the only thing you could see, was the ground beneath your feet.
This was just like the rest of the island.... surreal. She smiled brightly into the fog, shifting her body slightly, her belly moving on the wood of the pier she occupied as she lay stomach-down with her chin in her hands.
This was her place. The island was her place. Everything was jewel-bright in her jewel-bright eyes.

Halo couldn't look away smiling that there was a beautiful object... no matter how empty it was didn't matter.. it would still except him. He sighed. you know that's not possible
He jumped back and stared at the abyss shock written on his face. The green slits staring at him through the bright colour turning it red and dark. Hestarted breathing heavilly. No.. this couldnt be happening it was jsut a dream... How many years had he said that for? Hugging his knees he blinked keeping his eyes closed for aslong as possible a small tear. Then he opened and the illusion was gone. He looked around wiping the visble half of his face hoping no one could see him. For once actually wanting to be invisible.

Even as words drifted mist-thick toward him, he could not be surprised. His expression remained blank and his mind calculating. However, his curiousity did not fail to slip past his mind's boundaries (as it always seemed to). He had been alone when he arrived. But now? Not so much.
Danny pulled his feet out of the water and put back on his shoes. His movements were unecessarily silent, as whoever was there was not an enemy, but rather a familiar voice. With that in mind, he let his boots crunch against the earth when he stepped off the pier, relying on memory instead of sight to guide him to where the other peson would be.

Gently, Laura rolled onto her back. The sound of footsteps intruded on her silence. Although she was enjoying the solitude, she held no objections to interruption by a friendly face. Taking her time, she stood and dusted herself off. Her fingers ran along the hem of her pale green dress, straightening it out so that it sat about her neatly.
A genuine smile upon her sweet features, Laura made her way off the pier.
