Danny bushed through the prickly undergrowth, hissing every now and then as brambles and thorns tore at his clothes and skin. He had wandered off the path, despite the numerous warnings to stick to the well-travelled parts of the forest. He would glance back every few minutes to make sure Lanor was keeping up, even though he knew it was much easier for the lamia to traverse the scrub than it was for him. Danny let out a near silent gasp as a particullarly large and vicious thorn scoured his flesh, leaving a thin but reasonably deep cut that immeadiatley welled with blood. Ignoring the wound (and hoping that Lanor would not notice) he continued on until he reached a small clearing before a large, gaping cave mouth.
He had found this cave only a few days ago and had sensed something strange about it. He hadn't yet explored it, but hoped to today. Immediatley he had wanted to bring Lanor here, show this place to him before anyone else.
Grinning widely, Danny stood before the caves darkness and caught his breath, waiting for Lanor to join him.

Lanor followed Frank without complaint. Weaving his way, as if he were a natural and had grown up in the forest. Like a forest mage. The air around them continued to get thicker the more Frank pushed on. Lanor was uncertain of where he was taking him. Yet, spending time with Frank was appealing and Lanor didn't really care where they went. Even if this part of the forest smelled of danger.
Hearing Frank gasp in displeasure instantly made Lanor tense. His eyes scanning the area, before he smelled the blood. Being carried on by the wind. It was than that Lanor decided to walk next to Frank, away from where the wind was blowing. Still, the smell was there but, Lanor was glad they were out doors. And while Frank seemed to forget about it, Lanor was having trouble concentrating.
Taking a moment to slide a hand through his hair, Lanor stopped beside Frank. Electric blue eyes looking up at the monstrous cave before them. His mouth slightly open with an surprised look upon his face.
"Superbe.." Lanor stated, forgetting to use English.

Danny watched Lanors expression, grining even wider as he saw suprise register on his beautiful features. Wait... did he just think...? He quickly pushed any distracting thoughts from his mind, swining the pack he had been carrying with him onto the ground and crouching over it to hide the growing blush on his cheeks. Reaching into the small bag, he pulled out a torch and held it up.
'Wanna go in?' He asked, still hiding his face. He knew that Lanor wouldn't need the light to see, but he didn't particularly want to wandering around in an unknown, dark cave blind. He stood up, his eyes glittering with excitement, and took a few steps towards the cave entrance. He stopped to make sure that Lanor was following before he dissappeared into the cave's gaping maw.

Lanor turned his attention towards Frank, a wide smile on his face. Watching as Frank searched his bag and got out a torch. An eyebrow rose at it. As his eyes widened, unsure if Frank was serious because he was hiding his face. This answer was shown clearly when he started to head into the dark cave. Letting out a breath, Lanor gathered himself together. Proceeding right behind Frank.
"So, do you make it a habit of going into dark caves?" Lanor asked, his tone held laughter in it, for he found the situation funny.

He stood in the edge of darkness, just far enough in the cave so that light couldn't reach him. He hadn't wanted to proceed any further without Lanor. He was yet to turn on the torch, and quite glad that he hadn't already when Lanor spoke.
He looked at the other boy with wide eyes, then quickly looked away, hoping the darkness would hide the expression on his face. He was caught been deep embarrasment and bubbling amusement. He coughed, hiding a burst of laughter that he couldn't restrain. Surely Lanor wouldn't think like that, wouldn't deliberately make such implications.
Still, his young mind found the comment rather amusing.
He didn't answer, too caught up in keeping his thoughts under control.

Lanor gave Frank an odd look after seeing his expression. His movement stopped as he noticed Frank had too. He wasn't, at all going to voice his thoughts about the boy seemingly taking amusement out of his question. For he could see why Frank was finding it so funny. Yet he had to make sure Frank knew he didn't mean for it to come out like that.
"I had not meant... I didn't mean for it to sound that way..." Lanor quickly put in. Seeing that Frank was embarrassed.
"I am sorry. I'll be sure to word my questions carefully next time." Lanor said, a laugh escaping through his lips. Thinking that if Frank had found it amusing, then it wasn't that bad. Lanor had no idea that his question would have this effect, although, now he knew what the boy might think like. And that was amusing to him.

Danny couldn't help it, he burst into laughter. 'I know... I'm sorry' He muttered, when he could manage to stop laughing. He turned away and flicked on the torch. Its weak orange-yellow beam cut through the darkness, bouncing off the disturbed particles of dust that floated in the warm air.
He turned slowly, walking further into the cave's depths. The dull light revealed the the smooth stone walls, the rough rocks piled on the floor. Several passageways led from the main chamber that they were in, most of them were just high enough to walk through and one was almost as large as the outer cavemouth.
He turned to Lanor, his eyes flashing in the torch light. 'This way' he said simply, before walking quickly towards the largest passageway.

Lanor smiled, hearing the joy filled sound of Frank's laughter. It was nice, to hear someone actually laugh care freely in his company. With the knowledge of what he was too. Lanor was happy that Frank had wanted him as company, even though there were dangers. That Frank had a habit of getting into, at this thought, Lanor glanced at Frank's wound. It wasn't as bad as before, but knowing the island, he wasn't the only one that could smell fresh blood from miles away.
His eyes turned back to Franks as he held the torch up to his face. Making those lovely green eyes shine, with a heavenly glow. Or so Lanor thought, unable to take his eyes off them. Then, he followed. His feet making a faint sound upon the ground.
"When did you find this cave?" Lanor asked, his eyes catching every crease, every crack. while his nose caught onto the scent of something, not quite right. Yet he couldn't pin point what.

Danny stepped carefully on the uneven floor, stumbling a little over the loose rocks that littered the cave floor. He steadied himself before replying to Lanor. 'Only a couple of days ago... I was just wandering around the forest when I found it.'
He smiled, moving his free hand to rest against the cave wall, helping him balance. A soft breeze blew in from the cave entrance, the air, cool in comparison to the warmth of the cave, caressed his bare arms and made him shiver a little. He felt so relaxed, so calm, so much more than he usually did around Lanor. He was happy to explore, he had always loved finding new places.

Lanor reached out his hand, quickly placing them onto Franks shoulders. On instinct, as he eyes caught on Franks near-fall. It seemed unneeded, so Lanor removed them silently. And, somewhat reluctantly.
"Surprising," Lanor replied, his eyes roaming around the caves ceiling. His head tilted. Viewing all the holes that lead to the outside of the cave. Much too small for anyone to fit through. "..You didn't get caught by the patrols. Then again, you are not what you seem." Lanor added, smiling pleasantly once he dropped his gaze from the ceiling. Stepping around Frank's form so he was just ahead of him.

Danny felt his flesh tingle where Lanor put his hands, and couldn't help but feel regret when he pulled them away.
Danny stopped and looked at Lanor, grinning. 'I can be sneaky when I want to. I can be quiet.... and they can't find me.' He said softly, still smiling.
Excited and cheery, Danny ran ahead, stopping in the opening of one of the many tunnels. Then, like a child, he ran back to Lanor and tugged on his arm, trying to pull him in the direction of the tunnel he wanted to explore. 'Come on!' He cried happily.

Lanor laughed, as a shimmer of mischief glowed across his electric coloured blue eyes, enhancing them, making the colour more beautiful to gaze upon. The air the caves provided caressed his lungs as he laughed. Like the tender touch of delicately, soft finger tips.
"As you wish." He finally managed to say. Looking at Frank, as if he had not quite gotten the idea of him yet. As if he was just beginning to uncover the secrets of Frank. Somehow, knowing Frank was going to play a big part in his life, even if he had only just met him recently. Lanor was damned if he was going to let Frank disappear. When there was so much more to discover about him. With this train of thought, Lanor followed. Being tugged by Frank in the direction that made Lanor hesitate somewhat. The feeling he got from this part of the cave reeked of weeks old blood, and warned all of Lanor's senses. Still he carried on. Hoping he was just being paranoid.

Danny laughed openly, knowing he was being childish and careless, but loving freedom of doing such. He had missed having a childhood, missed being carefree and... And never before had he had this sensation. The quick fluttering of his heart in his chest, the giddiness, the desire to touch someone in the small subtle ways, and then the electric current that flowed with the touch. He adored keeping Lanor's company, and he adored Lanor. (Though in such a way that he couldn't admit, even to himself).
Danny had to stop, breathless from dragging Lanor at a run down the tunnelling cave. The tunnel had begun to widen and he could see, only just, where it opened up into another, wider part of the cave. He stood, trying not stare at Lanor, as he caught his breath. He never let go of Lanor's arm.

Still linked arms with Frank, Lanor smiled. His thoughts lost with the simple gesture of Frank's touch. Making his mind fill with possible situations he could lead Frank into. Possibly making known how much Lanor thought of Frank. Although, right at this moment he loved this. The complete innocents of Frank's actions towards him. And it was that in itself that made Lanor back-off for the mean while. Take it slow, in other words.
The tunnel Frank dragged him down made Lanor's unease come back full throttle. It was a mystery, the intense, almost suffocating power of something lingered in the air. Lanor was quite sure Frank would feel it too, unless it was something only he could detect, because of his uniqueness.
"Can you feel that?" Questioned Lanor, his voice airy as if he wasn't really concentrating on talking but rather the surroundings around them.

Danny's smile dissapated as he watched Lanor, a small, cute frown taking its place. 'What?' He said quietly, his voice still filled with child-like innocence. He stared into the darkness around them, concentrating on anything that didn't feel quite right. 'Oh' He said softly, something in the air seemed off. Out of place. He could barely feel it, but the feeling seemed to shimmer in the air around them. He thought it was thrilling.
'What is that?' Danny said, eager to find the source of this disturbance, curious, and free of worry. The fear he should have felt eluded him.

Lanor opened his mouth, about to explain to Frank then paused. Coming to find out that Frank already knew, the whole other thing Lanor was so drawn too about him. His smarts. Without meaning too, one of Lanors eyebrow's twitched. Trying to give an answer to the question, but finding he had none. Lanor didn't know, and that was an odd thing for Lanor.
"Something dark? I am not so sure?" Lanor replied. Finding it incredible that he had never read up about this before. Taking a look at Frank, Lanor continued to walk. Smelling no fear off the boy, yet he could see that Frank held plenty of curiosity.
Shaking his head, Lanor wondered if whatever they find will cure that. Or if it was something else that boy was curious about.

Danny couldn't help the small smile that crept its way back onto his features. 'Something dark?' He asked, voice bubbling with curiosity as he kept pace with Lanor. 'Can we see what it is?' Probably not a good idea, admitedly, but being around Lanor just made him so energetic and child-like.
Eager, he quickened his pace so that he was a few impatient steps ahead of Lanor.

Taken to mimicking Frank's smile, if only much bigger, Lanor tilted his head. A fond look falling onto his facial expression, directed at Frank. It was rare to find someone willing to go into a dark place such as this. It was very rare to find someone who would want to risk getting hurt finding out what the 'creepy feeling' was all about.
"Certainly Frank." Lanor answered, finding that the words easily rolled from his tongue. As he quicken his pace to keep up with Frank. Letting a hand find Frank's shoulder so that he could keep in close distance. Lanor didn't want an accident to happen. Not to Frank, and not when he was around.

Danny bounced excitedly on the balls of his feet at Lanor's approval. He almost purred in delight hearing Lanor speak his name. It sounded so right. Unwillingly he giggled a little, knowing he must of sounded ridiculous.
He automatically slowed at Lanor's touch, stemming his impatience. That feeling of Lanor's closeness was enough to calm him. He couldn't hurry ahead. If he did he would loose that touch and the soothing tingling in his flesh that came with it.

Lanor was completely bemused by Frank. He had never really thought, that he would become so attached to someone at this island. Not after what his parents had decided for him. Lanor was finding himself more and more inclined to hold onto whatever he was feeling towards Frank. Even if the other boy decided to reject him. It didn't seem important right now. When so much light, and happiness rebounded off them.
"Slow down sucrée une, I can hear something moving." Lanor warned in caution. He could hear something rising, or moving. It seemed to be getting louder, but much further away for it to do any harm yet. Lanor wondered what it was. It didn't feel right. Almost as if they had walked into a trap.
