"One, you could have tried it first before you started banging. Brooke is sleeping you know and I would like to keep it that way. And two, who cares if its not lady-like?" Christian stated with a sarcastic roll of his eyes. He stepped aside to allow her room to get through and then flopped back down on the sofa again but not before he took the chance to get a good long look of her backside as she passed by.

Rosaline's eyes narrowed at the boy. "That isn't the kind of person I am, Christian. You'd do to respect that." She entered his home after he moved aside, and took a seat on the floor by the couch. "Speaking of Brooke, does she like little stuffed animals?" If she didn't, Rosaline could always find someone else to give the toy to.

Christian said nothing further on the subject when her eyes narrowed and she went on the defensive. He had a twin sister whom he was very close to so he knew when to shut up when talking to a woman. "I'm not sure.." He replied, rolling off of the sofa to sit next to her on the floor. "You'll have to ask her that yourself."

Rosaline reached into one of the bags she was holding and pulled out the stuffed dog she had bought earlier. "Well, either way. This is for her," she said, resting the toy on her knee for now. One of its floppy ears was down while the other folded over its head. It looked kind of cute that way. "So you two live here by yourselves?" she asked Christian after a moment, doing her best to make small talk.

A small smile tugged on the corners of Christian's lips as she pulled out a floppy eared stuffed puppy from one of her bags. He picked it up from her knee, petting it with the affection he would use if it were a real animal. "You should definitely give it to her when she wakes up in the morning. That is..if you wish to stay.." He replied, not taking his eyes off of the toy. "It's just me and Brooke here. My sister stays over sometimes.."

Rosaline couldn't help the smile that crossed her features at the same time Christian's did. It was funny how smiles were spread that way. "Good," she said rather decisively. "Then I'll give it to her in the morning. As he spoke of it just being he and his daughter living at the house, with his sister stopping by occasionally, she inched herself over until she was close enough to comfortably rest her head on his shoulder. "Then you wouldn't mind if I spend the night?"

"Not at all.." Christian replied with the small and almost unnoticeable shake of his head. He was extremely aware of her small body inching closer to his, her head resting comfortably on his shoulder. For once he hadn't a clue as to what to do with himself but the feeling of her so close was actually really nice. "You can take my bed. I don't mind crashing on the sofa."

Rosaline felt herself blushing when Christian offered up his bed to her for the night and the thoughts that came to her mind after. "Well, you see," she began, rather embarrassed by what she was about to say. "I was hoping that I might spend the night beside you, rather than replace you in your bed." She was glad for the angle at which her head was resting; Christian wouldn't be able to see how furiously red her cheeks had turned unless they both moved. "It's just, I've been alone for so long and I've spent the past couple nights sleeping in that boat. I was thinking of... well a little companionship."

"Sure.." Christian agreed without hesitating for even a second. After all he was only dreaming right? So he might as well make this one of the best dreams that he's ever had. A girl like Rosaline just didn't exist and if she did then she certainly wouldn't want to sleep with him in any sense. Rose wasn't the only one with color in her cheeks.

Rosaline could only offer up a small smile at that as she pulled away to look at the boy sitting next to her. It wasn't often that the shy side of her poked through, but this was certainly one of the few times it did. How strange it was that this person, this boy whom she'd met not twenty four hours ago, was the one to bring it out of her.
Then again, it wasn't any stranger than her ending up on this island in the first place. If Rosaline really took the time to go through and try to remember it, she'd have a difficult tiime of it. The past few days at sea seemed little more than a blur of time for her.
"So what shall we do now?" she asked, her voice hardly above a whisper. It was almost as if she were afraid to say something.

Christian straightened up just a little as she pulled away from him and he awkwardly ruffled his own hair to make it stand out at odd angles. Like Rosaline, it so wasn't like him to appear shy at anything. He was known for being very over the top at times. "I'm..I'm not sure.." He stated with a slight frown.

Rosaline desperately wanted him to have an idea, wanted something to happen where they didn't just have to sit in an uncomfortable silence. The girl pulled her legs to her chest, wrapping her arms tightly around them, and rested her chin against her knees. "I'd suggest a walk, but I don't think you want to leave Brooke here alone," she stated the only thing that came to mind.

"No, I don't want to leave Brooklyn all alone." Christian stated quietly. What kind of father did she think he was? He would never do something like that just to entertain some girl, even if she was the beautiful ficticious Rosaline. With a soft groan he pushed himself up onto his feet and stretched his arms above his head before dropping them back to his side and disappearing into the kitchen. "Are you hungry? Thirsty? I did promise you a supper didn't I?" He asked.

The boat reatched the dock and Candra slowly deboarded, looking around. She didn't know where to go next. She felt lost and alone. The pain in her chest was buliding, like a tight knot that wouldn't ease. "Can...can anyone help me...find my way?"
