Jacob turned down off the stairs and walked slowly down a corridor he was extreamly bored and had decided to go for a walk. He walked halfway down the corridor before stopping and looking out the window at the huge moon.

Ina was wondering. She had nothing to do and was feeling restless. She needed to think of alternatives. It was probable that the Headmaster wouldn't let her stay in. People are like that, most of the time. She understood. She was not very valuable to the people in the castle. They did their moral job to save her when she needed it and now that she is well...
She didn't want to be a burden. She took time to take in the castle, playing on the fantasy that she might, for a small chance, be allowed entrance to the school. She needed a job too...she'd need to pay for the school...She walked around quietly and came to a corridor where a boy was standing in front of the huge windows that the castle had. He didn't appear any older than her. She averted her eyes from him as she approached him, meaning to pass him with silence. She looked down and counted her steps.

Ina paused at his question. "Godammit, why'd he have to be so nosy...", she thought as she stuck her hands in her pocket. She didn't like strangers. In the streets, well-strangers meddling into urchins' businesses usually mean those who think they're rich enough to control those poorer than them. Sometime, those are people who think they're good enough to try and make a difference by a free meal for the homeless. Such stupid assumption. Money makes people arrogant. They equate power with it. And this boy was probably no different from them. She looked him with a measuring eye.
"Walking around, obviously.", she said in a sarcastic tone.

Jacob frowned. "im sorry im just wondering why becaus ei dont think anyone is ment to be here" he said thinking that he must have heard wrong. If that was so then he should get out fast because he was a danger to everyone.

Ina frowned and crossed her arms in front of her chest as she tried to stare him down even though she was a bout half a head shorter than the boy. Was he being prejudicial? She didn't particularly look the part of street urchin anymore but..."I don't know....", she thought. She gave him te benefit of the doubt.
"Apparently, for the time being, I am going to stay here. Any other questions?", she replied.

Jacob relaxed. The school wasnt open yet she must be one of the only exceptions. "sorry how rude of me" he apologised, "would you like to go for a quite walk with me". He was much more calmer now that he knew that there were not hundreds of innocent humans lurking this place.

"Uhmmm...", Ina clicked her tongue and grimaced. Her head says no but something else said yes. It's been quite sometime since she's experienced true-blue chivalry. She missed it. The streets has been too dirty, too chaotic and has washed away any delusions of grandeur of hers. Delusions involving princes and princesses, castles and chariots. Nonetheless, here she was, in a castle, being served like a princess in a deserted corridor with a make-shift prince.
"No chariots...", she whispered nervously to herself, still discerning whether or not she was going to go along. He seemed like a genuinely nice dude. Definitely better than those hobos she'd been trying to dodge for the past few years.
"What the hell--", she said, sighing as she took a step forward. "Fine, let's go.", she said to the boy and shrugged with a lopsided grin.

Jacob smiled. Did this girl know what he was he thought. "good anywhere you would like to go first" he asked letting her have the first pick of the night.

She sighed. This felt like the first dates that friends told her about. The man asks the woman where she'd like to go, then she plays coy and asks him the same thing. Then they'd use up a good hour just fighting about where to go first and, maybe, in a turn of events, have a full blown fight about and never speak to each other again. "Normal people...", she said as she mentally shook her head. That, she wasn't. She opted for something straight-forward with a tinge of sarcastic humor.
"I don't know anything about this castle so, wrong question, Prince Charming.", she said casually. "Why don't you be the tour guide and I'll be the unsuspecting tourist and you can tell me all the crap that you know about this place and maybe throw in a particularly violent made-up story about an innocent piece of art work that hangs from the walls, hm?", she said as she quirked her eyebrows at the elegant boy. "I promise I'll believe anything you say.", she said, raising her right hand with a shrug.

Jacob smiled."im not sure if i am the right one to show you around the castle princess as i have only just arrived" he said, "you see i was a captin of a boat and it sort of went under and i was carried here among the wrekage and the headmaster found me". He looked out towards the sea. "I can always show you whats left of my ship if you want" he said shrugging his shoulders

"Ooookay...", she said, uncertain of her reaction to what the boy said. She didn't really know if he was telling the truth or if he was being the tour guide that she 'wanted'.
"I don't really know if your going for the crappy role playing thing that I just said or if you're just being...brutally honest but I'd prefer to stay INSIDE the castle, if you don't mind.", she said. It was one if Ina's way of dealing with fear. She didn't want to be alone outside with a stranger and after what happened to her, she didn't think it would be wise to do just that.

Jacob looked at her. "i was telling the truth" he said honestly, "thats fine it was just a suggestion after all well we could always see the fight arena on the ground floor". He had always wanted to have a look at it. Then he turned to see insecurity in her eyes. "or we can just sit here and talk to get to know each other" he said sitting on the window.

Ina's eyes widened at the mention of a fighting arena. She didn't even know that there was one. She nodded at Jacob's last suggestion.
"No fighting, just talking, please.", she said as she moved closer to the window sill. Leaning on it. She'd sit later when her legs go tired.

Jacob smiled. "okay then just talking, i actually liked this idea better anyway" he said flicking his fringe out of his face, "so how old are you anyway". It wasnt a very good conversation starter but it was all jacob could come up with.

She snorted. It was a strange topic to start a conversation from. It was still a bit strange that he was suddenly comfortable in this set up. She found it strange that she was too.
"I just turned sixteen. Though now sweet....at all.", she said with a slight scrounge on her nose. "you're not far off from sixteen, I guess."

Jacob smiled. "hmmm yes and no there is alot to my age then just my looks" he said softly, "just like there is something that you should know i act like a sixteen year old i feel like a sixteen year old and i am a sixteen year old in human years". He was sure that she would get it after that huge hint.

Ina drew away from him. She didn't exactly know what he was but the way he explained his age made her think that he was...not human. And after what she'd seen in this castle, there is more reason for her to believe that he wasn't.
"Uhm...you're being weird.", she said with a quirk of the eyebrow. "What do you mean by...human years? What are you, like, a dog or something?", she said with a slight nervous chuckle.

Jacob sighed and frowned. "this is why i usually hide my true identity because people tend to shy away from me the reason why im telling you is because i thought that you were different and would understand" he said softly, "you see im a vampire".

She chuckled. "No--Wait. You're--A--Vampire?", she said in an mocking tone. Then she laughed. She's never heard of such a thing as a vampire existing. Sure there were those jerks who were always high on PCP, hallucinating that they were vampires and all. Maybe he was high. It wasn't too far off. He was weird, to start off.
"Hang on, pretty face. Are you high on something??", she said with a laugh.
