"That is usually the case, but I've had someone play with my memories. Or so I've been told." C.C replied, reaching her fingers over to touch his hair. "The mind is really quite delicate, sometimes people with mind abilities have that capability to erase memories." C.C gently let her fingers play with his hair, as she explained.
"I use the name C.C, but do you think it's my real name?" C.C asked, smiling at the thought. What parents could of she had? If they had given her that name? It sounded like something you would eat.

'The magus?' He asked, anger glittering in his eyes. He had never liked their kind, never trusted them. They were tricksters...they messed with your head, revealed your secrets... the thought made him shudder.
Elias fought against the urge to push C.C's hand away as she played with his hair. It was his natural reaction to move away from contact, it had never meant good things before. This closeness was unnerving.
He looked at her in suprise, although he told himself it was only reasonable. 'Why did you choose that name?'

C.C paused, pulling her hands away. Looking at Elia's anger filled eyes. She wondered what they did to him.
"Magus? Yes them. They scare me." C.C declared, a tiny shiver of fear spiking down her back. Not caring that you should not reveal such things. Letting her eyes wander, C.C hadn't thought he'll take interest. People usually wouldn't care to ask.
"C.C was what my first friend called me. I didn't have a name, so she named me." C.C explained, smiling at the memory. "...It might stand for something, but she never told me." She never would know now, her friend had been human and was probably dead now. It had been when she was really 17, now she just looked it.
"Do I look like a C.C?" C.C smiled brightly, turning her eyes back to his.

Elias half-nodded as she spoke. Magus. Just the word made him feel sick to the stomach. He looked at her with slight confusion as her hands left his hair, the dull shock of the contact still reverberating in his mind.
He looked thoughtful as she spoke 'Where is she now? Your friend...' His curiosuty rose, never had he met one with such a strange background, even with where he came from. 'I suppose' He shrugged. She didn't really look like anyone else. He only knew her as C.C.

C.C's smile widened, - if that were possible. Great, so she did suit it. Shrugging at him, C.C slid off the stool.
"In that place that's said to have pearly gates, or maybe she didn't behave herself and ended up with Lucifer." C.C answered, unsure. She didn't really keep tabs on her friend, in this life the only life that really mattered was your own. Though that didn't mean C.C had not cared.
"Either way, I suppose she wouldn't mind. As long as she was out of this hell. Or so she called this." C.C added, using her hands to express what she was saying. Before leaning sideways on the bar. Still facing Elias.

Elias frowned. 'Really? Do you know what happened to her?'
Someone that must have been so young.....but, his mind ticked over, maybe not so young? He did not know how old C.C was after all. Appearences were decieving, especially when dealing with vampires. Her lifetime could have overtaken his many times... 'How old are you?' He asked her, his eyes sweeping over her body oncemore.

"No." It was easy to answer, "I was only informed that she died, nothing of how." C.C replied, as she started to play with her hair. Not fussed about knowing or not. Humans died all the time, C.C was kind of glad she didn't know how she died. It was better to stay in the dark with some things.
"I'm..." C.C paused, her eyes looking to the side while she thought about her age. Thinking back through her memories. Then once she reached a black canvas, she peered up at Elias. "..17" She answered. She knew how old she appeared, but she didn't exactly know how old she really was. Smiling, C.C knew that wasn't what he had asked, not exactly. But it was fun watching people grow confused.

'Do you miss her?' Elias asked, knowing that it was normal for people to miss their friends after they had passed. Not that he would know. He clenched his jaw and pushed the thought from his mind. No, he wouldn't know, no-one had ever gotten close enough to him, meant enough to him, for him to know.
'I meant your real age' He asked with a frown. He was sure she knew what he had meant...?

C.C frowned, remembering that she had in fact, felt sad. She had grieved, and had felt like a part of herself had been broken with her death. Though it was so long ago, the emotions behind the memory seemed to have faded. Feeling something missing is what she could feel everyday, so yeah, she missed her. C.C would always miss her.
"Yes, I miss her." C.C replied, with a smile. Knowing that she would always remember, so she had no need to feel sad now.
Silently C.C sat back down in the stool. Next to Elias, still facing him. "A hundred, maybe more. I don't really know, but that's the honest truth. How old are you?" C.C answered him, throwing in one of her own questions at the same time. After all it was only fair.

'Wow' Elias murmured, but kept his expression neutral. So old, and yet she looked younger than he did. He hook his head, suprised.
'Not quite as old as you.' He smiled '24' He sighed, longing for a drink again. Procuring a bottle filled with amber liquid, he filled to glasses, shoving one towards C.C.

C.C laughed softly, perfectly. Her eyes lighting up more so as she did.
"I'm still considered a baby. In the eyes of the others." C.C smiled. Taking the offered glass. Curling her hands around it, much like one would with something precious.
"Thanks Elias." C.C didn't know how much longer she should stay. She knew she already missed the first arrivals, maybe even the second. She would probably have to see the headmaster, just to let him know she was still attending. For he might think she got bored, and being a vampire, that was easily done. Yet the island was way to fascinating to become boring to her.
"To the future." C.C said as she held up her glass. With a bright smile.

Elias's eyes danced as C.C laughed, a part of him softened by her beauty. His face remained blank, but if she decided to look, C.C would see the secrets his eyes betrayed. Delicate and forever youthful, she intrigued him, stirring curiosity that usually lay dormant.
He pushed his hair from his face with a hardened, calloused hand. The effect of both his rough lifestyle and his dedication to the music that he loved so.
Elias raised his glass with a faint flicker of amusement. 'Here's to hoping it will always be better than the past' His grimace-like smile was so dull compared to her bright one.
