"Nope....", she said as she leaned back on her chair."....,sir.", she added. She was having a hard time trying to adopt to the classroom setting. It's been a long time since she's been in one and it was almost like riding your bike after years of it's absence. It felt weird, though nostalgic in a sense. She can deal.

"Then it's a date, sucrée une." Lanor stated, leaning away. He noticed Franks reaction, Lanor would wait. He just loved making Frank's heart beat faster, and his blush... Lanor felt he would never get tired of seeing Frank blush. Turning his attention towards the teacher, reluctantly having to take his eyes away from Frank's. He let his eyes wander towards the vampire in the front row. He could almost see the situation in his mind, Frank's blood was desirable, as was every human's. But Lanor wouldn't let Frank get hurt. He suddenly wished he hadn't made Frank blush. It drew attention.
Waving, as if to interrupt the girls thoughts, Lanor smiled. "A little." Lanor voiced out, his words coated in a accent. Taking his eyes from the girl to the teacher. Lanor knew only the required amount to get by. Not enough to hold a full conversation though.

Rosaline mumbled a thank you as the professor placed a book on her desk. She didn't touch it, not understanding the curiosity that the other student in her year had. Again her eyes rolled at him. He was such a simple being. "Yes," she spoke up and answered his question. "I've taken a couple years of Latin."

It took Alice a few minutes but she eventually managed to tear her gaze from the blushing boy and turn back around to face the front of the room. She had to swallow the venom that had built up in her throat just to be able to answer the professors question, her tiny fingers curling tightly around the edges of the wooden desk. "No sir, I've never taken this class before." She answered quietly.

Jacob looked over at the girl next to him. HE could tell that she was a vampire. He watched her curiously. She was extreamly tense and jacob knew why, it was because of the boy at the back his heart was beating extreamly fast and he was blushing, but this had no affect on jacob as he had already hunted recently. He gave a friendly smile to alice knowing how hard it was to resist the blood.

'And then you will tell me what sucrée une means?' Danny asked with a shy smile. He frowned a little as Lanor turned away from him, but he doubted anyhting could dampen his growing excitement at the prospect of seeing Lanor again. He chewed gently on his bottom lip, entirely unaware of the look he had been recieving from the girl in the seat in front of him.
Danny looked up as Lanor answered the Latin Master's question, his eyes sparkling in delight. He smiled at Lanor, then answered the question himself. 'I know a fair amount'
He turned and reached for his bag, rifling through it for a few moments before sitting back up, a scrap of paper and a pen in his hand. He wrote quickly something on the paper before pushing it towards Lanor.
The words on the paper read, Luminosus Oculus. Danny hoped Lanor would understand.

'Brilliant!' Gillian beamed. 'It is always enthralling to teach fresh minds. I am sorry to you, Frank, Rosaline and Lanor' He smiled to each of the mentioned students in turn 'but we will have to start with the basics so we most probably will be covering things you have already done'
He stood and walked, standing in front of the desks. 'These books that I have given you will be yours to keep for the entire time you are taking this class. They contain both advanced and beginner courses and also the history and some interesting facts about the language. Speaking of which, can anyone tell me in which country Latin was first spoken?'

'Very well done, Jacob.' Gillian beamed 'Latin was quite the popular language at one time. It spread throughout the world and became tainted with mispronunciations, misspellings and the general pollution of the worlds other languages. I try to teach the language in its most pure forms, but it is a hard thing to find.' He looked up at the class, hoping that he had their attention.
'Nowdays no-one speaks latin natively. It is only spoken as a second language. Furthermore, there are a few tricks with the language that most students struggle with. The letters J, U and W were only added to the language in the middle ages. Now, I want you to turn to page....' He paused to flick through the pages of one of the spare books '53 and read on for the rest of the lesson. It is an introduction to pronounciation and will do you a world of good to get it right.'
